RETHINKING THE INTERACTIVE TABLE

Using an IKEA table, a monitor, Arduino board, and a gyroscope, Maria and I redefined the interactive table. We created a game where players rock the table, moving an astronaut through space to collect fuel cells. Players win the round by collecting enough fuel cells to further blast the astronaut's space rock-it. The higher the level, the faster the astronaut moves (so the harder it is to control him) and more fuel cells need to be picked up in the same time.
